BLOOD VENGEANCE..A German's aggressive Black/Death komando ! 1st time I heard about them when Shyaithan of Impiety spinning their mighty 2004 IRON WARFARE mcd in The legendary TO MEGATHERION shop back in 2005!Without thinking twice I bough the MCD and it remains as my playlist till today.Well,here's another long lost interview that I made with them back in 2005.IRON FUCKING WARFARE!
1.Blood Vengence is new for me and perhaps some of threaders here in Malaysia.Please tell us more about Blood Vengence in the past..
BV. Hails Naz! First sth. About the history: BV was founded in in 2001. 2002 we released our Demo called “End All Life”. A proper deal was set up with Obscure Abhorrence Prod. and finally we realeased the 7” called “Panzerschlag” in 2003. After that we recorded our first Album, “IRON WARFARE”, which was released in 2004. We had some lineupchanges in the last months, Desecrator & Necrosadist left the band. But we found a new Shouter and Bassplayer, so we are complete again and Ready to Rumble!
2.The "Iron Warfare" is a killer Cd!!I really like the song and the sound in the cd. Can you tell us briefly about the recording season of this magnificent album?Who's Actually composing the music and lyrics?And also tell us about Kolekeller studio.
BV. The recording session was high skilled, the Kohlekeller Studio is a very professional studio with two excellent engineers.It took us about 10 days to record “Iron Warfare”. We are very satisfied with the sound, a big thx to Kai&Kohle! The music was and still is always written by the whole band. The Lyrics of Iron Warfare and on all older releases are written by Necrosadist.
3.I heard some of Marduk,Impiety and Angelcorpse hyms in Blood Vangence music.Do this aforementioned band has effected Blood Vengence musical direction?What is Blood Vengence real influence anyway?
BV. Yeah, a lot of people compared us with bands like Angelcorpse, Impiety and so on. We have some influences of those great bands, that’s for sure! Well, if you listen to extreme music only your riffs will sound in a similar way but we don´t steal any riffs.We are all Worshippers of extreme and fast music, that´s our main influence!
4.In the thanxlist booklet of"Iron Warfare"cd,Necrosadist has mentioned "REVENGE!!REVENGE!!REVENGE!!attack my mind with Triump,Genocide,Antichrist!!"...Does Revenge music also give some effect to Blood Vengence?
BV. I just wondered because I didn't hear any of Revenge style in the cd.(Maybe i missed it?)Necrosadist and the rest of the band are Diehard-Revenge fanatics, that’s the reason for his thanklist!Maybe the music from Revenge sounds a bit different, but it shares the same extreme opinion! Hails to James, he is a good Comrade of us!
5. Necrosadist has left the Blood Vengence,Its sad because i like his vokills alot!!But why did he out from the band?Got any replacement of Necrosadist?
BV. He left the band some months ago, we wish him all the best for the future. Personal Reasons played an important role. We Already found a new Vocalist, his name is Boris. He is a fukkin excellent singer, I like his Vocals A LOT! He sounds quite different,but very extreme!!
6. Blood Vengence are hailing from Germany ,A country known for its legendary Thrash Metal bands.Can you tell us where the hell is all this band(of course beside Kreator,Sodom and Destruction!)and what are they doing nowadays?And what do you think about Sodom,Kreator and Destruction new album?
BV. The Thrash Metal times are over since 15-20 years (what a Shame!!), only the biggest bands survived! The bands changed their style or splitted up. We all LOVE that great 80´s Thrash metal bands, everyone of us owns a big Vinyl collection with good old releases including the bands you mentioned.
7.How about the new metal scene in Germany?Many new band exist?Maybe you can introduce us the new potential metal bands from Germany.
BV. We have some good extreme Bands in Germany , but it could be better!
8.What do you comment about Mystic Circle,Desaster and Impending Doom?Do you know them?I mean do you have a good relationship with them?
BV. We dont know this bands personally, but we have seen them live several times. Especially Impending Doom is very great, hope the next record will be released soon!
9.Back to Blood Vengence!I believe Blood Vengence has released a stuff before the "Iron Warfare" cd,Can you tell us how many material did Blood Vengence produced?What about the old demo's?Do its still available?
BV. Our old releases I mentioned in the first question, but everything is sold out!!!
10.What about tour?any plan of it?Which band have Blood Vengence toured with?Whish band is you favorite to toured with?
BV. We would like to tour the country, but there aren´t that much concerts in the next months. We played some shows here and there, with Axis of Advance, Witchmaster and so on. A dream would be playing with bands like Revenge, Black Witchery and some other fanatics.
11.What do your know about Asean/Malaysian metal scene?Do you ever heard any band or zine from here?
BV. I have a good Contact with Shyaithan from the mighty Impiety, he is a very good Comrade! His other projects like Ravager or Nazxul are very good! The Asian scene isn´t that much popular in Germany , but some bands are known.
12.What do your comment about black metal?Do you consider Blood Vengence as a black metal demons?or maybe you have any specific word for Blood Vengence hellhyms?
BV. We used the description „Gasmasked War Black Metal“ in our older releases, but today I wouldn´t describe us in a way like that. A new Era has begun, new members and a new sound, our next record will be very different!
13.'White Metal'...Tell me what you think about such genre
BV. I don´t really care about it, such bands aren´t popular in Germany . We don´t have anything religious in our songs so it doesn´t matter
14.Sex Beer and Metal..For point of view is it important in extreme metal ?
BV. Yeah, Sex Drugs & Metal!! We like to party a lot, so drinking is very important! Question: Can you imagine listening to good old Thrash music without drinking a beer?! (Well,its depends on every culture but yet still NO it is surely damn odd..hehe ED )
15.Any merchandise beside cd's bro?Maybe a tshirts,Patches else?promote anything!!
BV. We have some shirts+patches left, since 1 week the Hoodie is available! It looks so great, it also offers a printed Hood! The Vinylversion of Iron Warfare
(a great looking Picture disc with a noble Gatefold cover lim. 500) will come in about 1 month!)
16.Oh!!One more question! Germany will organize a Fifa world cup next year,are you ready for it?Do you like football?If yes,tell me you favorite German's player!!hahah..
BV...ha..ha..!!Im not a soccer (Dude,ur an European and you call it a fucking Soccer !!??!! ED) fan like others, but the world cup is always pretty funny with a lot of beer!
